We refused to choose between performance and aesthetics.
So we built a mat that delivers both.
A Different Standard
We don’t sell promises. We build products that last — and that we actually use ourselves.
An Object of Desire
A mat you want to see. And more importantly, to use.
A Deliberate Choice
It’s not for everyone. It’s for those who refuse the ordinary.
A brand born from refusal.
ZenMotion is a French brand based in Nice, on the French Riviera.
There was no business plan at the start.
Just one observation: yoga mats were either high-performance… or aesthetic.
Rarely both.
We refused to choose.
To create a mat you actually want to use. And to look at.
Every mat is built with one simple requirement: to genuinely improve your practice.
- No more slipping.
- No more discomfort.
- No more mats you forget in the corner.
But also:
- A mat you own.
- A mat you leave visible.
- A mat that makes you want to practice.
Full-surface design. Real impact.
Our designs aren’t here to “look nice”.
They’re made to create a reaction. To transform your space. To make your practice more engaging.
Each model is tied to a distinct identity.
Not to tell abstract stories —
but to help you find a mat that actually fits you.
A material chosen for what it does. Not what it says.
Cork wasn’t a trend. It was the obvious choice.
- Exceptional grip.
- Natural comfort.
- Clean, durable surface.
And unlike printed mats, our designs are engraved.
No chemical ink. Nothing that fades.
Built to last.
We didn’t want to create just another mat.
We wanted to create the one you keep.
Dense materials.
Stable structure.
Consistent performance, session after session.
Produce better. No fake claims.
We produce locally whenever possible.
Our caps are made in Europe.
For our mats, no European production met our quality standards.
So we made a clear choice: produce elsewhere — without compromising the product.
And reduce impact by importing by train instead of ship.
What we’re really trying to do
Give you a mat that changes something.
Not just in your poses.
But in your desire to practice.
Because in the end, the real problem was never yoga.
It’s not wanting to roll out your mat.
